![]() ![]() So many useful cordless tools for around the house. Hope to add a few more things (Brad nailer, router). Most of mine are xr but a few are older brushed models and I have zero complaints with any of them (impact driver, drill, high torque impact wrench, jigsaw, sawzall, circular saw, atomic mini circ saw, oscillating multi tool (thing is stupid useful), planer, drywall cutout, vacuum. For work around the home I really like dewalts 20v lineup, with choice for xr or brushed. I’ve been using dewalt 20v line for years. Ratchet, looks like it would be super useful: What would you invest in? Thing is I already ordered the following Dewalt with the Labor Day Sale: but now wondering if I should cancel my order and wait for a M12 deal?Īlso, what is the Dewalt equivalent to this? Ther eare times I do work in the dark and have poor eyesight as it is. Also, seems the built-in flashlight is terrible compared to how Dewalts works. I have medium hands so not sure if this would be a problem. I have also read that their batteries perform better in freezing cold temperatures over Dewalt, however I don't see my self working in the cold unless it is a urgent car issue.Ĭons: The biggest complaint I have seen is issues with the grip, as the bottom part is really wide. Also, their impact wrenches appear to be smaller/lighter and yet more powerful then Dewalts which would be great for removing lug nuts and rusty bolts. They have a ratchet that seems it would be perfect for engine work. Pros: Much smaller profile, which would especially help when working on cars to get in tight spaces. Seems they are extremely comfortable overall. Pros: Their drill seems to have the best reviews overall. My construction/contractor/home DIY friends recommend Dewalt while my mechanic friends suggest Milwaukee. I am torn between the Milwaukee M12 Fuel line and the Dewalt 20V Max XR series. I don't think I would ever do anything heavy duty but perhaps a fence one day. I plan to purchase a home in a year and then do plan to do more DIY type work. ![]() I'm renting an apartment so for now I really need a drill so I can hang a TV on the wall and drill holes for curtain rods. ![]() Time to invest in some power tools for my self that I want to last a very long time.
